Helius Sunlink PV announced the launch of its new Helius Ares line, featuring N-Type Back Contact (BC N-Type) technology. With enhanced design and high efficiency, the new modules were officially showcased at the Intersolar Middle East 2025 in Dubai, marking their global debut.

A key innovation of the module lies in the use of Back Contact cells, where electrical contacts are located on the back side of the cell. By eliminating front side busbars, the panel maximizes sunlight absorption and minimizes optical losses.

According to the company, the refined minimalist design enhances visual appeal without compromising performance or quality, making it an ideal solution for projects that demand cutting-edge technology, high efficiency, and minimal visual impact. As a result, the module reaches up to 24.1% efficiency.

“Helius Ares represents a significant evolution within our product families. When we introduced N-Type modules, efficiency was already a major leap forward. However, our R&D team knew we could go further,” said Eduard Krummenauer, Country Manager at Helius.

“With this new technology, we’ve pushed efficiency to 24.1%. Placing the contacts on the back keeps the front surface clean, highlighting its minimalist look and of course, boosting performance,” he added.

Key Advantages of Helius Ares:

  • Superior performance under shading, due to the absence of front-side contacts that cause optical losses;
  • Enhanced temperature coefficient (-0.26%/℃), ensuring better thermal stability;
  • Low long-term degradation: ≤ 1% in the first year, and ≤ 0.35% annually from the second to the thirtieth year;
  • High resistance to microcracks: with all busbars and soldering on the back, the module is less prone to damage from transport-related impacts or vibrations.

Launches at fairs and events around the world

Helius Sunlink PV also emphasized its full schedule of fair appearances worldwide. Juliana Colling and Yasmin Del Vecchio – from the Brazil Marketing team and responsible for the company’s stand projects – highlighted that participating in global trade events is key for brand growth, innovation, and establishing valuable connections in the solar energy industry.

“Our challenge is to design booth spaces that allow our teams to showcase Helius products and their differentiators, host meetings and contract signings, and position the brand attractively always considering the local culture of each country,” Juliana explained.

“Bringing Helius Ares to Brazil is a strategic move. It’s the perfect moment to showcase our 20-year track record in solar innovation and reaffirm global trust in the brand, while introducing a sleek, minimalist product to a market that increasingly values both aesthetics and functionality,” she concluded.

The Helius Ares module will be available in monofacial and bifacial versions for the global market, addressing a wide range of applications and customer needs. It will be featured at Intersolar South America 2025, taking place from August 26–28 at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, at booth G4-60.
